For the three year period 2006 - 2009, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of the South Bay has identified four strategic goals
that create a bold, yet realistic vision for promoting a sense of value and making a more profound difference in the South Bay community.
Each of our goals - Increasing our organizational capacity to provide high quality programs, engaging baby boomers,
creating distinctive services, and building our public image - requires that our programs and initiatives work together
to achieve common objectives. Our four major programs are as follows:
CVAN(Community Volunteer Alert Network) was developed to ensure that frail elderly and homebound seniors receive support during the first 72 hours.
Education
America Reads voluteers support classroom instructors by providing one-on-one tutoring
