It only took Ms. Hart 3 years after retirement as a magazine publication employee to look for something to do.
Ms. Hart was looking for any volunteering that kept her working outdoors.
That is to be emphasized as the key element to where she wanted to help people. Because she volunteers at South Coast Botanical Gardens, people can come to enjoy the wonders of nature. Her job is to work in plant propagation.
But that is just part of her volunteer work. She also volunteers at the Madrona Marsh where she gets down and dirty pulling weeds, starting new seedlings and helping the marsh look like nature planned before development arrived.
If that were not enough you can also find her on any new Habitat for Humanity project that is being started.
She states, "Wherever there is a new home to be built for the needy I will be there".
RSVP of South Bay congratulates Ms. Hart for making adifference to those she serves.
